Galaxy Unpacked 2024 — Paris

This year, AMJ took charge of the concept, direction, and design for the 2024 Galaxy Unpacked Event, diving deep into the essence of Galaxy's latest innovations. We experimented with visuals to capture the balance of sleek geometric shapes and intuitive functionality in the new lineup, from watches and rings to foldables.

Concept development

‍The visual concept centered on the evolution of the Galaxy Ecosystem, driven by Galaxy AI. We focused on geometric shapes illuminated by light, symbolizing the Galaxy AI star. The interplay of light and shadow highlighted the distinct forms, textures, and materials of each product, emphasizing their design features.

For the presenter titles, we combined clarity with creativity, experimenting with how light could form geometric structures. Since the event was held in Paris during the Olympic season, the city became a key source of inspiration.
The final presenter title design was drawn from the Louvre’s inverted pyramid, connecting the event's visuals to the venue in a meaningful way.

‍We explored different ways to use light to accentuate the products' geometric lines, materials, and textures. We also tested angles, layouts, and movements to visually capture the seamless connectivity of the Galaxy ecosystem. This shared geometric language between products became a defining visual principle.

The screen setup is always a fun challenge at Galaxy Unpacked events. This time, we had a long screen with a curved top. Using the surrounding support screens, we experimented with anamorphic projections to create an immersive visual experience.
